Caz shot.jpg

With a background in dance training and teaching, Caz’s love of yoga began as a teenager. After suffering a debilitating back injury during a dance class, she found that yoga could help her injury in ways traditional methods could not. She has since practiced in various styles such as Ashtanga, Iyengar and Purna Yoga and has completed her 200-hour yoga teaching certification with Byron Yoga School. Caz started her love affair with boxing and kickboxing at Fitness Ring, and soon was under the mentorship of head trainer, Nick Tetoros – she then took her passion for boxing overseas - spending seven months training at Antalya Boxing Club, Antalya, Turkey.

Combining the two disciplines, she knew that there was something special when yoga sequences followed on from boxing & kickboxing training: combining the strength, intensity and focus required from boxing with the deep opening movements, internal focus and breath work of yoga - creating an incredible means of stress relief and balance in both body and mind. Caz often ends her class with some breathing and mindfulness meditation techniques leaving participants completely refreshed, yet focused. Caz currently holds a certificate in CPR/First Aid, 200HR RYT, and a Certificate III in Fitness.
